Your a Hero! Helping, Supporting, We Appreciate You!

Hello, and welcome back to the blog, its month two of Quarantine, I hope you all are well, and keeping safe! We have finally been giving a end goal, and the necessary steps to reopen the country again. Which is some settling news, I just hope it all going to plan now. For myself, and the hair & beauty industry it looks like stage 4, July 20th, will be 'back to work' day. Please god!! But on the positive note, I've the summer off!! WOOHOO! In last months blog post I talked about adapting and coping with the new normal and also how I cant remember the last time I had the Easter holidays off. Now I've the summer off, this is amazing and bizarre all at the same time, so I'm seeing it as a blessing in disguise, a silver lining from all the madness and worry around the current paramedic. We may as well make the most out of a bad situation, eh?

But as we're all sitting in the comforts of our own home, enjoy the sun and the time off, there are many others risking their own health every single day. Working long shifts and putting others needs before their own. The Healthcare workers, nurse, doctors, supermarket staff, postal & delivery staff and more! In this current threat, these are the people that will be remembered, who will go down in history known as the real super hero's of the world. COVID19 Hero's of 2020! Personally I can only imagine what they have to go through every day, physically and mentally, and I probably don't even know the half of it! But what I do know is, that I'm grateful to all those people, I appreciate all their hard work  and wanted to give back somehow. Just a small gesture to say thank you, give a little surprise to stranger to come home to after a long day. So they know that people are thankful for all their hard work. There are so many people around the world giving away goods also, big brands and company donating care packs to all the hospitals and frontline staff. ITS AMAZING seeing the world working together, and supporting each other.

As the Birthday of Miss Styler Blog is approaching, May 12th, I wanted to mark the occasion. In the past I have done giveaways every year to says thanks you, to you guys for following along and supporting the blog. Even when I haven't been very consist with publishing. Over the 5 years I have been a finalist for Irish blog awards, Finalists for Nail technician of the year in varies awards, and also collaborated with a number of my favorite brands. But more importantly I've just enjoyed creating the content for you, and wish to continue for another 5 or more years! It started as a hobbie and still is, and maybe one day it will turn into something more, but for now I'm so grateful to have this creative space and to share it with you. So I'm going to do another Giveaway this year, but this time I want to give back to the frontline workers, to personal say thank you for keeping us alive and safe, and thank you for keeping us at home, if anything its help me work on myself, and its given me time to create more content, blog posts, and to fall in love with my hobbie again.

I also wanted to help small local businesses, and give them a boast in this hard time too. So with help of some very generous local businesses, we all have put together a hamper of goodies and services. The Giveaway is LIVE!  you can enter a friend or family member or yourself, on the Giveaway post on Facebook and Instagram, just comment #Yourahero, tag the person who you think would love a treat and boost. You can enter as many times you want to! I will be announcing the winner on the Tuesday 12th May, on both Facebook & Instagram.

So Here's is whats up for grabs,
and a little intro to the business whom donated some amazing prizes!
I have added a voucher for a set of nails, (when we reopen of course!) a set of press on nails, Sosueme beauty goodies and a manicure care kit.

Martina from Seanogwellness
- Reflexology treatment & Rahami Treatment

"I'm a Reflexologist, Reiki Master, Rahanni Practitioner & Teacher and I am also a qualified CBT Therapist. I worked in finance for nearly 20years but I knew It wasn't for me long term. I was far happier talking with people and getting to know them, supporting them, empowering them and helping them find their own self confidence. I love every single aspect of my new career - and for me each part of it works together in a very holistic way - looking after the mind and body.
In Reflexology, I absolutely love working with feet - to me they are sacred - they are what is holding you up every day, carrying you forward in every step you take and they tell the story of your whole life and deserve to be nurtured and  treated with love and respect. I also practice Pregnancy Reflexology helping women through each stage - of becoming pregnant, helping during and post pregnancy to keep the body in balance and wellness. You can see all treatments on our website www.seanogwellness.com or on our Facebook page.

I did years of volunteer work in the area of mental health and subsequently studied CBT - this was a huge gift for myself as much as for any of my clients - CBT is a truly wonderful therapy and can give a person the self confidence, self belief to make positive, healthy changes in their lives. In energy healing I work with Reiki or Rahanni - both of which are beautiful healing energies, I have I have found a huge change in my life since I started practising these therapies and it has all been positive.
My favourite thing about my job is seeing the difference in my clients from when they walk into my healing room to when they walk out - they have a lightness about them when they are leaving and it is what keeps me going to work every single day. I have missed my work so much over the last few weeks - but I know that the people who are working on the frontline are working from their heart and soul with compassion, dedication and love and I am so happy to be able to offer two treatments that are a small thank you for everything they have been doing." - Martina.
