Welcome to my Blog, Miss Styler!
Stephanie Tyler is my name, I'm single (well not married) so for a name for the blog was easy
Miss, S (Stephanie) and Tyler, and together give Miss Styler, simply right?
In this space, I write about my life, what I'm passionate about, what I believe in and just simple pleasures I enjoy. I'm a fully qualified Hairdresser, Nail Technician and Educator, with 10 years of experience to date now! In this ever-evolving beauty industry and the ever-changing blogging/social media world, I'm still learning, growing and trying to find my place in, like us all?. Helping others in the beauty and nail industry is a passion of mine, but also creating little pieces of art and content for the world to see. I started this blog when I was unemployed in a recession, it became a hobby and has been a positive mental health focus for me, I get engrossed in the making, editing and photography process of creating a blog post. Plus the feedback that I have received over the past 5 years (April 12th 2015, is Miss Styler Blog Birthday) has been amazing, boasting a local business, working with brands I love, to seeing my followers enjoy the content I create for them, the support has been great and couldn't be more grateful. Today the blog is still a hobby, and my escape from the real world, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
A little bit of info about me,
I was born in Slough, England and moved to Wexford, Ireland with my family in early 1999. Growing up in Ireland was great, I made lifelong friends and had such freedom to grow up, compared to living in a little flat in Slough. In school I loved all things creative, art was my favourite subject by far. So being a girlie girl picking a career was easy but working for that career was hard. I did a Hairdressing course which also included Makeup, Manicure & Pedicure qualifications too and I loved every minute of it! After college stepping out into the world with this hair and beauty knowledge was hard as Ireland was hit with a recession. Friends were moving to work in Australia and times got tough. This is where Miss Styler's Blog started. I was determined to focus on the positive things in a negative world, and I'm so glad I did. Since then my life has changed for the better, I've found my dream career in creativity, positivity and hard work.
So have a browse through the blog, I hope you enjoy it. All my blog posts are quite a light read, I'll be honest I'm not the best writer in the world but hey it's a blog, not a novel.
