 What you need:
2 Small Manicure bowels
Small spoon
Cuticle pusher
wooden stick
Nail file
Nail buffer (optional)
Nail Polish remover (If needed)
Towel
Warm Fluffy gloves (Winter gloves or fluffy socks)

Ingredients:
100% Virgin Coconut oil
Brown Sugar
Lavender essential oil (optional)
Warm water

Step 1:
Take a Before picture! See what areas are dry, cracked, notice what colour your natural nail is.
- Prep the natural nail, Gentle push back the cuticles
(Not to much as we will be doing this again later),
- Cut or file the nail to desired length and shape. A shorter nail is more hygienic, prevents breaks. Remove any nail polish, surface dirt or oils with Acetone free nail polish remover.
- Lightly buff the nail plate to smooth down any ridges.
We do all this work at the start so the nails and hands are left hydrated and dust free by the end of the manicure.

Step 2:
Making your 'At home' Manicure products, all from your kitchen.
All which I have tried and love! First make you Hand scrub, and set as side for the moment. Then make your hand soak for the next step in your manicure.

Step 3.
Place finger tips into bowl for 5 mins.
- This will soften the dry skin around you nails, cuticles and help soften hangnails.
- Remove finger and dab dry on a towel
- With your cuticle pusher, push back the cuticles again to gently remove any dead soft skin.

Step 4.
Scoop up your hand scrub and massage into hands for 30 sec, Be gentle and let the grainy sugar do the work, the coconut oil should melt in your hand as you massage into palm, knuckles, around the wrists, in between the fingers and don't forget your cuticles and underneath the nails. (Same motion as you here washing your hands with soap, sing the birthday song!). When done, Rinse the hands under warm water to remove Sugar.

Step 5.
You should have residue of coconut oil left on your hands? If not, yes you got it apply some more coconut oil, add two drops of lavender essential oil and massage into hands, wrist, and up the arm. Here you can give yourself a little hand massage or kindly ask your Quarantine buddy?! Place heated gloves on hands, until the temperature cools, and the coconut oil is soaked in. Approx 30 mins.

Step 6.
Take a after Picture! See the difference in dryness, skin texture, skin color, and your nail bed color (should be a healthy bright pink), Tag me in your manicure photos would loved to see your excellent work!
