What I've Had Done

Hello Ladies,

Today I'm going to share my Beauty 'Must have's' and 'Can't live with out's with you. What I have done every month without fail. Some people have nights out on the town, go on more than one holiday a year and others like to pamper themselves, and why not?! We all have that something we can't live without and has to be done! So I don't get cosmetic surgery, fillers or anything of the sort! Just a few things to enhance my natural features, so they tell me! ha! I have my Nails, Eye Lashes and Hair professionally done every month by the best in the business.

Home Care is Key Ladies, keep this in mind!

1. Acrylic Nails

So as you may know already I'm a Nail Technician at the fabulous Nail Boutique, located in Wexford Town. So you would think working in a nail bar I would have a different set of nails every week? But we are a very busy Nail Salon and I do care about the condition of my nails also, so I will have a Acrylic Refill done every 2-3 weeks.

So why do I chose Acrylic over any other nail service out there? I find Acrylic lasts longer, doesn't lift, feels light on the nails and plus they are super hard too!! But that's me, all of my clients are different also and prefer one from the other to suit there lifestyle and what works for them. At the moment I'm loving the new white marble nail trend, and you all seem to like my version on Instagram too.

2. My Hair

I have my coloured to a ash blonde every 4-6 weeks depending on my hair growth. As you can tell by the photo's I'm not a natural blonde, but I have had blonde hair since my mother gave me permission too. My hairdresser, Catriona Doyle, will tell you how stubborn my hair can be when colouring with naturally warm golden tones! We use the Schwarzkopf Blonde Me, which contains anti yellowing agents, has 9 levels of lift, but also isn't damaging to the hair. Which I found works for me better than other brands I have used. We do experiment with different toners each time, just to keep things interesting.

Also, recently I have a new obsession! Hair Extensions! Why didn't I get these done before? I have a full head of U tip PreBonds from Platinum Hair Extensions, applied by another, Catriona!

3. Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions

When The Nail Boutique started doing Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions of course I had to give them a go! Emma The Lash Queen, is amazing at doing natural, full, fluffy lashes that you can't live without. Like I actually feel bald without them. My whole make up routine has changed in the morning. It's so nice to wake up and feel like your makeup is done for the day. That's what it feels like having lashes on! No mascara, no eyeliner, no more panda eyes! Its great!
I can't feel or see them on me, and they are very light weighted too I have these semi-permanent eyelashes refilled every four week to keep them fluffy and full all the time.

So now you know my secrets, my 'Must Have's' and 'Can't live without' things I have done on a monthly basis. I will continue to do so as long as the money is in the bank of course.
